Each dumbbell sits in its own casing so that the dumbbell and weights do not roll around when not in use. Each dumbbell adjusts from 5lb to 52.5lb in 2.5lb increments up to the first 25lb. The dials on the end of each dumbbell enable the user to choose the weight to be lifted by simply releasing those weights that are not needed. After use, simply replace the dumbbell back in its case and re-engage the dial for a different set of weights.
If required there is also an option to buy a stand for the dumbbell cases so that everything is conveniently at waist height. There is also a 2-year warranty on all plates and parts that are incorporated within the dumbells and weights.
