So, what is the POWERUP 3.0 Smartphone Controlled Paper Airplane? Well, it is basically your traditional, regular paper airplane but with a special feature that you can then control your paper airplane from your phone. Wait, did we just say that you can turn a piece of paper into a mechanical machine? Yes, yes we did. The way this works is you first start to make any kind of paper airplane you want with whatever paper you choose. Then, you will place the special POWERUP 3.0 device onto the tip of the plane’s nose which will then run down from the nose to the end of the paper airplane. On the other end of the POWERUP 3.0 is a propeller. You will then connect the paper airplane to your smartphone device within the POWERUp app via Bluetooth technology and then the magic will begin! From the app, you can then control the paper airplane as if it was an RC plane! You can then fly your paper airplane for up to 180 ft and can hold a 10-minute charge before needing to be charged back up again! POWERUP 3.0 is also considered a STEAM toy which are toys that incorporate Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Math.
