The inside layer is a very comfortable and warm fleece that goes from the elasticated waistband all the way to the elasticated sleeve cuffs and up inside the hood. There is a zipper the whole length of the body for ease of putting it on and taking it off. The hood has a pull cord around the opening so that the wearer can pull it tight and tie it off to keep the wind away from the ears and to stop the hood from blowing down.
