First of all, it is made from pure 100% linen cotton woven into a good quality fabric. A hidden zipper is sewn into one edge so that the detachable cushion cover can be filled by and removed from a cushion insert (you have to provide the inserts yourself, they do not come with the covers).
The cushion cover is completely washable by machine or by dry cleaning when the cushion insert has been removed, however, the manufacturer recommends that on the first wash the owner should add salt to the water to fix the dye and keep the colors fresh.
The linen fabric itself is fade resistant, water and weather resistant, proof against mildew and is protected against UV light so you can be sure that the cushion will not be subject to damage from damp or sunlight.
